Antenna Research Overview
Despite advances made in computers and manufacturing processes, radio frequency (RF) system today are still using technology developed in the 1970s. Sciperio is developing antenna systems that take full advantage of 21st-century technology and research, resulting in antennas that are smaller, conformal, and electrically superior to standard RF systems.
Antennas are basically metallic lines. These lines may protude in the air as a long rod or be as thin as a wire filament. They can take any shape, kept straight, or bent, or curved to a surface. Using advanced algorithms and equally advanced direct printing processes, Sciperio offers new approaches to antenna design and fabrication and creates a number of application possibilities.
